Mystery solved! - (thanks to Chris at Laj Racing)

Marb, check out this link: http://www.400greybike.cc/newforum/view ... =37&t=6109" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They do exist, I wasn't just loosing the plot....

Apparently, there is an earlier and later 3EN2, with slightly different sized swing arms. You need to source a replacement swing arm to using the spacer sizes I posted at the start of this thread, that's 23cm/9" exactly. It looks like this is from the later 3EN2.

Also, the later 3EN2 23cm arm, comes from a 3EN2 frame that lets you fit the 3TJ swing arm straight in, without milling anything at the mounting points. Whereas the earlier 3EN2 frame, does need the TJ mount points taking down slightly.

Apart from that, I think the frames are identical in every other way.

Now all we've got to figure out for the history books, is where in the 3EN2 frame numbers, the change over happened.

I'm going to fit up the 23cm arm tonight and fingers crossed I'll be posting some pics of it fitted. (without using odd tools to spread the swingarm legs apart!)
