that does look really nice, very professional too, the levers look great too
mmm Ohlins....
my damper 'says' ohlins too

one small suggestion...get some renthal grips on there, it will make the whole 'control' area look complete, mabe neatly lock wired if you want to complete the racer look

The M/C is off an aprilia RSVR Mille Factory - its the radial version. It is really impressive and hardly needs any force on it to get the bike to stand on its nose!

I'm not really into the renthal grips - not keen on the look/style really.
My damper is real Ohlins, came with the box and everything! and works a treat!

The dash was from another forum member who had it on his NC30 so he sorted most of the wiring :D
But it fits on really easilly - uses the same mounts as the original clocks - Craig S (the guy I got it from) used connectors which fit into the original loom.
The only part I'm having a slight problem with is the tacho pick up for the revs but it should be fine once thats sorted :D

I need the engine back in and to have it running to do this so it may be a little while before that happens!

I have one other little goodie that I have recently purchased from Mr Rick O. ;)
Can't wait to try it out!

cheers Smev

Spent most of yesterday doing the swing arm and got it all together with new(better condition) hub, just gotta get the old swingarm off now - it seems to be seized on/really really tight!

Anyone know what size allen key is needed for the swingarm/spacer nut bit on the right hand side of the frame? I've drifted it off in the past on old bikes but i don't want to damage the frame on this one :D

I have also made a start on polishing the frame now and it is looking mint!! I started off using 120 grade sand paper to remove some sort of laquer that has been applied in the factory - once that is off, I move through the grades of sand paper and have been finishing off with some 3200 wet and dry and autosol metal polish - can't wait to get it all done!!

Smev 8-)

don't hold me to its very early on a sunday morning but i think the allen key is a 14mm one,but i'll check when i get the garage open.
you have to fire us some pictures of the swinger up man and some of the frame half done then fully done,as i said before i'd love to do this to a bike but couldn't be arsed ...

edit,i was right it is a 14mm allen key

Looking good Smev.

Is that Ohlins going to fit inside the fairing like that? I had mine mounted the other way due to clearance issues.
