if any one knows where to get a set of type 1 decals please let me know , im pulling my hair out trying to get some, i ordered some of ebay but some of them was over 1cm to big which doesnt sound a lot but its very noticeable,
even went to a local place and he said he could get them excact but after going back numerous times to see on the progress , i kept getting excuses saying he cant get this bit right etc but you wont notice it !!!!!!! as for the gold stripe i think you should go for black it will look better!!!!!!!!!!! but its going to cost more than i first said because of the extra time i spent getting them right !!!!!!!!!! THEY WAS NO WHERE NEAR RIGHT, so i made an exit and never went back. not that im a fussy cunt but went youve spent alot of time rebuilding a bike you want it be correct,

E mail me on arsey30"at" hotmail.com and I will give you the number of a supplier that does not advertise due to copyright issues.

He does the artwork/design and a major decal manufacturer makes them.

He can supply a complete set, plus gold warning labels, but these will be in English for the UK model.

The gold stripe comes in a roll, not single shaped pieces, and is slightly darker, but if used on the whole bike it will not notice.
I used it on the belly pan only and it does not show mismatched to the original

The mid panel white and v force decals include the gold stripe on the originals, but you may have the option of that, or without gold stripe so that you can apply it from the roll.
Don't be alarmed if the mid panel decal comes with a wider gold gold stripe on the vinyl, it should be painted over to give a sealed edge so that you end up with the correct 8mm stripe.

A good painter will do that no problem dave, it wont even notice.
Tony,
Could this decal be removed without trace, it is laquered over.
Would the dark blue need repainting or just re laquering.

Could you do it?

Thanks,
Dave.
