Ill have to research this compression test. First time i changed them was because of the water leak when it first happened, my dad suggested changing the gaskets which seemed to have sorted it for a while.. Yeah I went down so i could see the pistons, changed the metal gasket below and rubber one above the cylinder head. Definitely going to buy couple genuine ones and just replace them again, cant be assed with all this again.

And yes thats a really clean engine!

What did you use to paint the engine with? As I'm in the process of dropping the engine from a project bike and it needs a bit of tlc to make look healthy.

Probably, but it wouldn't have hurt to have added the words "I used xyz" or "I polished the living daylights out of it!" would it? ;) I wouldn't mind knowing either! :grin:
