• Not charging, rectifier?

Still sounds like no fuel getting to the engine. Try disconnecting the fuel line to the carbies at the fuel tap but leave the vacuum line connected. Crank the engine and check that fuel runs out of the tap. No flow then no engine run.

check that the vacuum is on the outside spigot on the tap - not the inner one.

Alright cool thanks people, i will check all this out tonight when i get to the bike, would it be worth draining each carb of the fuel, incase whats in there is a bit stale?

there'll be bugger all fuel in the carbs...it will be slowly trickling in between successful starts..and then running on it til empty and then not starting again..

Ah right, so tonight ill check that the vacuum pipe is on the "outer" pipe on the fuel tap, and I will disconnect fuel line and turn over and check for fuel flow. Ill let you know my findings lol

Alright mate i know the battery isnt charging still lol, but when i have it running on choke like i mentioned before the revs start to drop slowly till it dies, u can try to catch it on the throttle but no luck. Then if you start it again on choke it will do the same again, you touch the throttle to catch it when its cutting out and it just cuts out lol,

Rev it up before it cuts out and turn the idle adjuster up lots (clockwise) until it starts to run very fast.. take the choke off and then turn the idle adjuster down as it warms up until you have a steady 1300rpm.

You wont catch a dying engine very easily with throttle if it's on the dying strokes.

I am such a fucking noob lol, i had vacuum hose on inner spiggot on the fuel tap, put vacuum hose on outer pipe and all sorted. Thankyou very much to everyone who has helped,
