LOL, I know, and it all works too. Maybe I just got lucky with my 'seat of the pants' set-up, or maybe that the bike rarely sits below 9/10,000rpm mean that I don't see/feel much below that. It's been a really long time since I've had the 400 out (about 4 months) and I can't speak of performance as a recent thing, but the bike pulls strong from nothing right up to 16k.royster81 wrote:your bike goes against everything i have read on this forum but...

Smev, do as suggested, standard everything, 118f/120r and take it from there. Help is always only a few button clicks away. When I ran the Yamamoto on the track bike (pre-ram-air) I had 122f/124r, HRC foam filter, adjustable needles on the 3rd clip, HRC rep tray, no snorkel, 2.5 turns on the a/f screw and 2.5mm drilled slides.
