Ordered my race bodykit (minus solo cowl though) EC, do you know what mods are needed to fit it? Any specific brackets I need to fab?

Don't know - but it looks the same as a fzr600 so I reckon drill it and bolt it on. If this is a race bike you need to have a belly pan / catch tray if it's just a track day bike then work out how your going to get it on / off without taking the front wheel off.

It's going to be a dedicated race bike (eventually) so I'll need to sort out catch tray (I've asked them if they can fit one to it).

Anyone know (EC?) which other race seat units are the easiest mods? What else is needed apart from the obvious seat?

OK so I've found out the easiest mods are either FZR600RR or TZ. Decisions, decisions

Not sure about the TZ and the 600 has slightly different standard plastics. Really you'd do better to use a race subframe because yours is steel. The 600's frame is generally the same so it could be a frame and seat will bolt on ... fingers crossed

Apparently the TZ seat unit is a fairly simple and common modification so I've opted for that one. It's also slimmer than the 600 seat unit. I'm not too bothered about a race subframe at the moment - it's my first active season and money is tight until I can get some more sponsorship (I've got myself and my signwriter at the moment).

Bloody typical! The headers sit below the bottom of the race fairings so I can't fit a catch tray

Looks like I'm going to have to get a set of headers made up with the collector up front so there's only a single pipe under the sump. More bloody expense

Can you not make a pan to drop in the fairing,Or will there not be enough ground clearence.
