You could always use the ones from your other set.
im confussed cammo?

the set i have in are in really good condition minus the idle problem which is hopefully down to the balancing

the other set which have a few broken bits etc are also internally dirty!

What I meant was that if you can't sort the idle issues out on the set of carbs on the bike then you could always transfer the needed parts to the other set and try them.

the bits that need changing are the fuel inlet Tee's as the guy how had them cracked them and left them looking like a tramps teeth! also the dowels for the air box/carb bracket are bent, and the seals had been crushed when he reffited them wrong, just need a few things and ill refurb and have two sets of carbs

You don't have to use the dowels - just remove them with a pair of pointy nose pliers. Makes removing/replacing the carb bracket much easier if you do it regularly. If removed though, it's a good idea to make sure that the carb bracket bolts are done up super tight (impact driver) and threadlocked to stop the carbs going out of sync.

Solved Thanks to neosophist ;) thanks fella you have been a great help,

the problem was ballancing, cylinder 2 was very low on vacuum and the rest were very high, so mart brought the other 3 down then ballanced them up very nicely,

just done 40miles on the local roads nothing hard as i have to scrub that rear tyre in still but its idleing nice, and rides nice the power delivery is much smoother and not as scratchy as before.

not only did this main man balance my carbs he also assisted me to bleed my new rear brake saved me a hell of a lot of time!

mart what was the name of those guages and ill have a butchers and order some. thanks a million for your help i really cant thank you enough.

Rick
