DM, the outer tube on the MV showas are bigger than 48mm (they are actually 49mm on the inner tube), I imagine they are about 54mm, which means new yokes (I got a good contact for that)
You should be able the use your PVMs or other honda compatible wheels, just use RC30 discs, they are 310mm. What is critical is caliper spacing/disc offset, but the wideness of the yokes can sort that out, no problem. From memory std honda disc spacing is 130mm, so that means you have to set up the calipers centers to have the same.

Magteks are nice, but you could also go with a RC30 or RC45 fitment PVM wheel, look at Durbahns site. I run the old PVM 6 spoke racing wheel, thet are very good quality, but you know that.

Ok ronni its starting to make sense now, the PVM's that i have im told are RC30 fitment so there good to go, there michaels old wheels. So my shopping list will be this,

MV forks
MV 6 pot calipers
RC 310mm discs
Custom yokes
Custom spindle

Is that correct?

Antone interested in a RLR spec RVF front end? minus the wheel obviously.

You also need:
- Wheel spacers
- Clip ons
- New steeringhead bearings and dust seals
- Maybe a steering damper clamp (if you want to run one.)

and the MV front axle diameter is huge, can't remember just how big, but you could fit oversize bearings in the PVM wheel, so you don't have the tiny 20mm axle to limit you. You can go as big as 25mm with 6905 bearings

Yes thats what was concerning me to start with but i forgot to ask, im not sure i understand how a spindle can be made smaller in the middle than it is on the outsides where the fork bottoms clamp it? Can oversized bearings really open it up enough for it to work?

You just make the spindle with a screw on collar in one end, screwed on by an internal hex,
I have a similar arrangement on the rear suspension lower framemount, I can grab a pic so you can see

The revcounter would look perfect too, if only the red of the redline wasn't there!

Yes that does help ronni cheers, well if your contact is willing to do the work on the yokes and spindle with a little input from yourself to make sure ive got all the measurements correct that would be great. Probably wont be till winter tho, i wanna get some use out of the bike this year instead of just looking at bike in bits again.

As for that tacho, id really love a HRC one but as always there a little thin on the ground. I did find a RC30 HRC one but it was very tatty and im not 100% sure it'll work. I think i might have to settle for one of those overlays you've knocked up speedy
