Viper, I had a guy make the carbon parts, all one off custom parts patterned off the OEM stuff. He did not make any moulds for further production. I listed the info in this thread somewhere back towards the middle. His stuff was nice but not perfect but nicer than what I had. I bought some metal/rubber grommets that I have to drill and rivet on to the chain guard to attach the rear brake line. I'll post pics of that when I get it done.

Thanks again for the supportive posts! Wouldn't be anywhere without this forum, the internet, and e-bay.

Since I am at a standstill and can't do any more mechanical work until I get the upper shock mount back and get the shock re-sprung, I thought I would test fit the bodywork. All the bodywork was off the bike in boxes when I got it, so I needed to check and see what fasteners I had and what I needed to get. The panels are literally hanging off the bike in these pics with minimal attachment points. Everything fits well thanks to Mr. Honda. Just need a few bits here and there. Getting so close now. Just need to finish up the shock, add coolant, charge the battery, fill and bleed the brakes, gas up the tank, and hit the starter button. I am really that close. Then just the graphics on the bodywork, mount, recover the seats, and ride. I told the wife I would take a year to complete this project and it will only be 5-6 months.

Are you fitting the pillion seat back on or fitting a seat cover?
If your fitting a solo seat cover i have a decal set for the black rear numberboard, 2 peice, one for the side pannel and one for the seat cover, both sides. just a thought as i remember you having probs with getting decals. Its a replica decal kit done by image works, change of plans meant i never used them. Seat cover are available from pyramid plastics if i remember rightly

Thanks mate, I'm just going to recover the seats for now, and then after I may do the cowl cover. Spent a small fortune on the bike so far, so a little over budget by now. Just trying to get it done so I can actually start to ride the thing. I'll let you if I need the decals though.
