FINALLY
i found a wire with 12v and bridged it with that one

bike is ready and rearing to go

thanks all for they great help. Now i am not going to touch a thing on the bike(apart from maintenance) and just ride it

Good result mate, glad it's sorted!

so i had my track day monday..
freaking awesome, i think its the first day i have had with no accidents/where i have ridden in all sessions. I didnt even have to play with any tools. it was such a great feeling just relaxing in between sessions instead of trying to fix shit..
bike was running great

only two minor things
1) the front breaks seam extremely spongy, i have had the mc rebuilt as the mechanic said this was causing the problems. It wasnt. the bike has new braided lines on it, and i have bleed them. You can pump up the breaks and they become firmer, i have put a cable tie around the lever and they became rock hard..... but for only like 10 mins... air leak somewhere???
2) a little bit of oil dribbles out of the engine casing where the dip stick sits, i have replaced the o ring and this improved the situation, but didnt fix it. any suggestions?

Number 1:
It could just be a shitte set of pads for track work and they are overheating after one good lap. Road pads won't generally cope with the heat generated on track, no matter what rubbish they state about 'bred from the track' they may claim on the packet.
Or
Your caliper pistons and the calipers may be so dirty and full of gunk inside and outside that the pistons don't move freely. If you rebuilt the master cylinder, may as well do the calipers too.

Number 2:
No idea. I'm guessing the thread on it is probably half knackered. Could try a new dipstick, but it it is only a 'weep' might not bother too much.
