Is this not your RACE/TRACK bike ??
If so how come you are making it look so pretty and worrying about if the can looks to long ?
Don't take this the wrong way, I think it looks smart as fuck, I really like the "MAT" black very nice indeed. But wont the bike get a little messy any way when you are racing it?
When my bike puts its track clothes on it looks one of the tastiest in the park.
I worry that all of the nice stuff would get broken, so i put all of the crappy bits on it.

it hasnt cost that much really, the only really pricey bit is the maxton shock. The farings were well tatty before and i painted them myself so that didnt cost a lot. As for the can the bike needed a new exhaust anyway and i got the yammoto system by swapping it for an old blackberry, ok i paid £50 for the can and had to get a link pipe made but i think it was worth it.
The length of the can is growing on me now and at the end of the day if i did chop it its only a 5 min job. I spose it is a little tarty for a trackbike but i dont have my road NC anymore so i guess this one gets more attention than it should.
I do have an RGV trackbike to and belive me that is about as tatty as it gets. Like most people on here i have soft spot for NC's so spose thats the reason behind my madness

Nice one buddy.
As for the "MAT" black paint did you do it with cans ?
I really really like the way it has come out. I am getting one of my spare frames and swing arms done in black powder so i think that the "MAT" black panels will look good with the frame and swinger.

yeah that would look nice, black is good colour for bikes.
paint i used was halfords satin black over grey primer, probably cost £80 in materials.
looks ok for what i use it for.

Well it will be for my track bike that i am building, so it does not have to be a mint finish.
