Like I said before, I was not trying to offend anyone when I said that this forum was a bit dead and perhaps yes I was a bit vague in my questions and I already tryed gsxr400.com before coming here and that conversion uses a oilcooled engine whereas I am going for a watercooled engine, wich is smaller and has the disavantage of using the forementioned watercooler in the front wich may cause clearence problems between the exhaust manifold and the front wheel during hard braking.
My main concerns (to be more accurate) are engine mounting points, I know that at the rear they are the same, at the front they are useless and the ones at the middle have to be modded in order to accomodate the 750W engine.
I'm also going to use 2002 Aprilia RSV Mille wheels and complete front suspension (Showa forks).
the frame's gap for the swingarm is:

so perhaps the gsxr 750 w banana swingy is an option

for the radiator clearance problem I plan on fitting a gsxr 750 K3/k4 exhaust wich gives alot of clearance due to it's design.
In theory this all works out ok, let's see out it builds up...
If the handling and the building goes as planned by the end of the Summer I'll do a bore-up to 907cc and Cagiva 593 bodywork rep.

on a side note

this thread "http://www.runboard.com/bgsxr400.f3.t93598" showed on gsxr400.com and linked on OSS.info served as an inspiration for my project ;)

update frame arrives this week.
Also bought a pretty mint gas tank, since the tank and fairing tail piece was from a gk73a that I bought by mistake (the ad on ebay said slingshot and I never knew that a deltabox type frame gsxr400 was called a slingshot cause we never had that bike sold it back here in Portugal so to me a slingshot is a good old perimetral "light" alloy frame spars like the good old 750s and 11s) and after some research I decided to go for a much simpler and tested approach for the front and got hold of a front end from a zx636 and for the rear a swingarm, shock, wheel axle combo from a 08 R6, that should be an interesting combo....

pics to be followed as soon as parts arrive...
