From my understanding of the structure of the NC30 "slipper clutch", if you really want it to slip ie freewheel on over-run, why not remove the spline on the clutch basket section that is normally locked to the gearbox input shaft. One problem with this mod may be the extra load on the sprag clutch during start-line take-off. Could end up freewheeling in both directions or need regular sprag clutch replacement.

Something for a racer/trackie with spare clutch basket to try.
