thanks for your opinion on it......as you can see he's ended the auction as he had a decent offer in person that he couldn't refuse. He has a std system as well and is keen to keep the bike fairly standard hence selling this system and keeping the std one that I think was already fitted.

Thanks for everyones input.

ps not had any more info or pics on his CDI unit yet but if he does a pic and I can't ID it I'll be back

Sprung joing halfway down the rear pipes and mild steel sound like the "HRC" pipe I had. Hope he got a few quid for it.

Have just let him know it may have been an HRC system and suffice to say he's gutted if it was although that said I have no idea what an HRC system (with Harris can) may be worth. Anyone care to offer a figure they've paid for one and ideally a pic or two to compare?

Even with the HRC kudos, I doubt it would fetch more than £250-300 for an OK looking one, but what put me off the scent of it not being a HRC item is that it used the standard rear twisty section. It was a system I've never seen before, certaiy not a common one at that.

I know Moriwaki was also mentioned, but my Mori only starts springing together underneath the sock, not as high up as it did on your friends system. It certainly has me stumped as to the brand.

Not the same as the one I had but am sure Aly <> Abrmoto had one similar.

The 4 into 1 section is something you don't see so much.

It's definitely not an HRC system, the hrc system is a full system and gets rid of the std rear exhaust manifold for one.

This is the first system I've ever seen that has a spring joint half way down the rear downpipes. I can only imagine it was made that way to save on cost.

Ahhhh now now boys and girls,

I beleive there is a hunt for a sweat system just gone on ebay, well im ya man!!!!Bought for a fair price after i`d just been ripped off from some tw#t on ebay for so called race system which came off the ark.......

Kermit i cant put your mind to rest because i dont know what make the pipes are! but they are stainless, and yes its a genuine harris ti can, but road legal, coz it had a insert in it!!
the can i think came off a blade or a 600cbr, because as you can see in your photos the badge is on the inside of the sleave, it has however just had major surgery  , it is now only 300mm long, insert removed, all relavent springs attached, planted on my race bike and sounds fuk#n pukka!!!

i will get some photos up of the finished article when i have worked out how to up load them..

Perky rides on!!!!!!!!

My Akrapovic on the SV has that, yes I know it's not an NC but almost being a V-twin nearly as tricky an exhaust, just half of it!
