I even tried it withouth the spacer on and the sprocket carrier up against the bearing and it was still slightly out. Could it be the sprocket or does this bolt pattern only fit these bikes?

the chain guide and front sprocket line up perfectly but the rear spocket and front sprocket are out of line buy the same distance as the sprocket and guide at the rear. If that makes sense.

no there is a std spacer between the bearing and sprocket carrier.

As a guide from limited measurements I can make without dis-assembly of my bike, undercut on the inside face of 525 rear sprocket is approximately 1.5 mm, would expect slightly less for a 520 sprocket. Distance between back face of rear sprocket mounting bolt and face of chain tension adjuster ring is approximately 3 mm. My 525 chain runs centred on chain guide/buffer.
Looking at your pictures there appears to be too big a gap between the chain tension adjuster ring and the sprocket face.
