If you've gone that far i'd clean the carbs again or soak the whole assembly in some sort of carb cleaning solvent!
Something is definately blocked in there.

yeah its all soaking as i type, that one jet that doesnt get removed, is that the transition jet? like the one without a screw driver slot or anything, its just a smooth cylinder

yeah, that won't come out. cleaning carbs is a pain in the arse but worth it when its sorted and you've done it yourself.

soaking it and cleaning it all again, also putting in an order for a new set of float valve needles
