My first bike was an NC35. I traded it for a Street Triple, then bought a VFR800, then an NSR250, then a KTM RC8, then an Aprilia RXV450. Then I bought another NC35 and have sold all of the rest. I loved them all, but the NC35 is special. I will get a modern bike soon for commuting and touring, but the NC35 will remain.

Unless you are desperate for the cash - throw a dust sheet over it and wait till you have grandkids - then show them the little piece of Honda magic you have at the back of the garage

These bikes are the road link to the modern day MotoGP bikes - I couldn't imagin life without one. I got an R6 last year and it was fantasticly fast and handled, but it just wasn't an NC. so I sold the R6 and now have 3 NC's!!

i did that for the past 2 years. as everyone correctly pointed out, it owes me nothing, not one single penny.
But its a travesty to keep it and not use it. Perhaps if i had it at home in the heated garage with all my dad's vintage stuff it would be better but for now, i am letting it go.
I lock my road bike to the rear wheel of the Nc30 so its just a great big anchor, and its sooooo much more than that
in time i may perhaps lust after a mint one, and perhaps restore a mint one myself but at this time in my life, 7.4 kg road carbon fibre road bikes are my priority and cycling 10 miles in under 21 minutes
