Just picked it up and I can say is I love it and hate it but in a good way , needs new tyres and the suspension looking at before it cripples me but I'm off out for a proper ride on it now so I will get some pics and tell more then.

Iv already snapped a lug of the crappy bodywork thinking i could make it fit better , it kept dying on me but runs fine with the tap set to reserve, the tyres are square and perished , its cramped and uncomfortable and you look and feel like an idiot riding through a town as it sounds like a learner bike and you've got full leathers on.

Overall its a right blast and I love it . I need some rearsets to sort the riding position out and some new tyres badly.

Trying to keep up with this all day was fun.

Once you have a new set of tyres, rebuild the forks and get it running right you'll notice the difference.

Is this your first 2 stroke btw?

How many sets? ;)

So what was the handling like then Marcus? Are you pleased with the performance? Was it a bike previous owner used or just stored?

I didn't really know what to expect but I was hoping for more, couldn't really push it as the tyres on it are perished , got a mate who race's and is meant to be good with setting up suspension so I will be visiting him in the week.

Its quick but when you want the power its never there and the last big bikes iv owned have been a zx6r and the nc so its a case of re learning how to use the power.

I think a new set of tyres and the suspension will transform it, if not there will be some head scratching going on.

I felt the same when i went back to 2 strokes with the NSR, felt like i was ringing its neck everywhere but you soon get in the groove, its all about keeping the momentum going.
