its not really suited to a couple of half days on motorway or the road from santander to pamplona.

Mate I rode Fontyyys old 28R back to back with my 21SP and if I hadn't have previously owned a 21SP I swear I would have thought my clutch was fucked, the wet NSR clutch is an awesome thing so slick with loads of feel.
However all of that means nothing as it doesn't rattle like a can of bolts.

Re: CRM - Never say never again - again - again, lost now
well today was the second time of riding the Rothmans.
first time i took it to work, it ran ok but pissed fuel everywhere when stopped and smoked like a bastard from the oiled up pipes.
so i fitted the tyga pipes, cleaned all the crap out of the carbs, and infact cleaned the whole engine and bike up while it was apart, changed the main jets from 140 to 145 to compensate for the pipes, and new fuel tap and filter.
So rode it today for a shake down, started easy thinking i would just pop to chester, but ended up into wales, stopped at the ponderosa, down to ruthin and around before heading back for some sustained high rpm on the motorway and it felt superb.
fuelling is lovely, i may goto 150 just to be very safe, but the power delivery is just about perfect. ok it may be around 50 horses now and pulls harder than before up top, but its still fantastic low down and i think i am happy with it like that now. it pulls my weight to the redline in top with ease and handles like no other bike i have had. new 090's are scrubbed in now and i really like riding it. suspension feels fantastic and setup very well even for my weight it just inspires confidence.
ok its hardly going to worry a 400 after 80 mph, but its almost as rewarding to ride at normal speeds and comes alive in tight low speed bends.
Fuel economy is shite. 10 quid gone in around 45 miles tops. i reckon a full tank would manage around 60 miles. now thats pretty poor lol.
anyway cleaned it up and put it away, some very slight melting of the righ hand lower on the underside, so perhaps a slightly bigger dent needed on the pipe to give some more clearance but apart from that very happy with it.

I know everyone has already said this, but they're both very beautiful bikes and your real lucky to own them, I'm also glad to hear that you enjoy them and don't just keep them in a garage!
