It was wicked. Such a cool TD.

I am liking the travelling through history with the bike. Some cool pics I have stashed away.

We have a nurburgung 400GB session on the cards for the next installme. and no9 gets a paint job!

Right on...

So. we are rolling into the 2007 season I reckon and I was loving riding my NC30. I still did not have a car licence and was riding to work, to trackdays and around and about the peak district.

I had gone for a 15/43 sprocket setup and was conbinved I could learn to wheelie the bike with that setting as it felt so fast!

I discovered the joys of BT090s and acquired a spare wheel and some spare fairings for the track. Didn't want to smash up (again) my fairings!!

Shape eyed amongs you will spot the stealth rotors. Awesome bits of kit and also a set of the CBR600FX calipers.. in 2007 8-) Not a lot new to be seen these days....seen it and done most of it!!

I also ran R&G bungs for a bit - they lasted a wee while before I decided I did not like them and did not want to crack my motor mounts in a fall (they were the drill ones)

Still running Yamamoto no2 system and it was all good.


(as an aside, I bought another NC30 off a dude in Hartlepool (via here) ) *was initally tagged as no15..but due to shameful state of the bike I sacked it and it went to Geoff to die....

I collected it after having a crack and the dude seemed alright. It had a blade front wheel...blade discs...and would not start even though it span over on the button.

A little bit of, very in depth, troubleshooting and we figure out the engine not sparking...a bit more continuity checking and voila...sabotage!!

Once the wiring was sorted the bike started and it was immediately apparent that he motor was fubar. Clacking like a tractor and so a call to Geoff and it was history!

Word up,

SO, the moto was looking tired and it was time for a new paint job...

As the previous post, we were looking for an NR750 rep stylee... and in the usual style..it was a rattle can and stella mission with the parts hanging off the washing line and the sides of the shed.

a proper pikey job..

Bit of a prep session...wanted it nice and shiny white so primered and a lovely shade of shiny silver base coat..

After all that ballache...well, surprise surprise...we had another trackday sorted.

This was one of the first TD at the new Anglesey..very exciting!

On the night time, Aki actually turned up...and as he was not riding, he got wasted..

Apart from that, Angelsey was a great track. Grippy as hell and really flowing. not as good as Cadwell IMO but definitely better than Croft and Silverstone.

Nice little write up on your loved one Mark, Aglesey looks fun. Is that some sort of mini corkscrew? Did your mate grab some front brake or something mid corner?
