Only use the manual for tolerances etc but generally use my judgement or phone a friend(buddy own`s a workshop)

your bikes looking real nice! just wondering what you set your valve clearances to as i can not find the measurements anywhere?

Manual says; in 0.13-0.18
ex 0.20-0.25.

I run mine 0.14 inlet and ex 0.21. But i do check them regular,hope this helps mate.....

Wish i'd never bought them LOL they cost me £420 and loads of headache! they are off a gsx400x and i thought it used a Bandit motor, it may use part of the motor but the head has a different carb spacing so ive had to rebuild and its not a straight forward job! They WILL FIT. Had some Bandit 4 FCR's before and loved them, only got these as they were new and have a side choke + the power jet that fires fuel when you wack the throtlle open, i dont give a fcuk about the fuel consumption as its for the track and im just after more power. I Know a guy in the USA with a set of FCR's that are from a xjr400 (straight fit) but you know how much they go for!!!
