LOL it's not too complicated but there are certain components that you'll need to swap either engine using the other engine's electrics.

Dr. Frankenstein has breathed life into his monster

I got the bike running tonight, went for a quick spin, and god it felt good
I need to tighten the exhaust bolts as the fronts were blowing slightly, so didn't get a true picture of how it runs but feels good.

A really big thanks to everyone thats given advice, it has been much appreciated, and a really big thanks to Mike from BMC, for his advice on the starter clutch as that is what the main issue was :peace: I will buy you a pint if i see you at a track.

I may be after advice on setting up the pilot jets/needles once i have run the bike properly.

Thanks again

:rocks:

So lets re-cap with what parts you actually need to swap from the NC35 engine when transplanting an NC30 into an RVF for anyone else doing the conversion.

Starter Clutch
Pickup coils

LOVL
Yes Neosophist, it does seem so simple when you know.
I look at the grated knuckles and hours spent removing and cleaning parts as a great way to get to know the bike. And to be honest i did quite enjoy it
