i did, simon (EDG) told me about this lastnight. it could be a good way to get into RC ownership for someone, however it could also be a moneypit and you could get burned big time.
you got to ask why wouldnt someone get it sorted and sell it then ? also i still think it will make daft money even as a non complete finished bike.

I know, i spoke to my missus last night about it, and got the all clear to go for it, but after thinking about it i decided not to. I think your right £7000 to £8000 to buy it, but how much more after!!

you will need 10k for one these days. and its easy for me to say, but they aint worth that.
if they were still 6-7k for a nice useable bike then yes, project like this for 4k then fair enough, but prices are just daft.
however they are ace to ride

Yes, as it does not not seem to require much to finish, why sell as it is?
Have the valve clearances been checked [low miles, early bike a big risk], is it running, is it derestricted from 77hp, always difficult to assess an unfinished project.
