Hey fella I,ve just bought the same bike on fleaybay today as you, a fzr400rsp 2tk, picking it up tommorow , all panels rubbed back & need spraying but my tail unit has a cut out where someone put a pillion seat in doh!!!
should be fun....

alright m8 i seen that one in grey was tempted myself see if the frame numbers match up 2 make sure it is a 2tk

Yes mate I,ll get the pics up for you, any in particular?,
pretty sure it is a 2tk as I had a close look at the pics, its got the oil cooler, adjustable rear shock, preload on the forks, single (ish) seat etc etc.
I,m from Newcastle, but dont worry unless theres a seat unit for sale (which would save me some fiberglassing work) I dont need anything urgent so you can bid away for bits lol.

whats pre load on the forks ive not been on a bike for 20yrs
parts i need are in the pics earlier in the post i see your a geordie i was born in bedlington

Lol Bedlington thats superb what a small world, Ian Bells a good yam dealer there not far from me really.
Pre load is an adjustment on the forks to take the initial "slack" out of then if you like, if you are hooning it around its important to get the right sag settings etc for the bike which preload can give.

ps, I used to drink on bedlington high street 20-25 years ago, always good to go there for a change now and again.
