So no hassle with the electrics, any particular model/unit we should look for?graham72 wrote:Went for the ducati 916 rear light in the end, couple of brackets made up and it went in a treat!

Re: Led rear light
The one I got was off Riley on here, its the led rear light with built in indicators. they always on ebay, you have to make up your own brackets to get it to fit and change the wiring plug.
Looks twenty times better than the original tho!

Re: Led rear light
I spoke to a guy tonight that makes clear tail light lenses for cbr250/400's and asked him whether he could get any made for the vfr and rvf.
He didn't sound very convinced that he could sell the minimum quantity that would need to be ordered (probably 100), so might have to take this challenge up myself someday.
Don't hold your breath waiting though, it might be easier to just do what Graham did.
Pics please!

Good Luck!
I'm surprised thought that would be quite popular?

Yeah me too.
Selling 100 units world wide would be a piece of cake.

Re: Led rear light
Ok so I've had this fitted a while and decided it needed fettling slightly. When fitted, the LEDs were pointing too far upwards and needed levelling a bit to make dopey in the car behind got the full visibility that LEDs give!
Using longer screws, a piece of tubing and some flexible plastic ( how very blue Peter!!!) I managed to angle the LEDs and backing plate back to make them more horizontal.
Now they are nice and bright when following the bike instead of only bright if you were driving a hgv right up me ass!!!

Re: Led rear light
it looks good mate, gonna love a lad who goes to the effort of a customized fit, not just some straight forward bolt-on
