had a good blast out in the sunshine, first time since the rebuild , just a few hours to check all is good , no over heating no drips or anything , a tad boggy low down on the revs but quckly clears and pulls good , might have to look at the jetting 118/120 at the mo, need to find a decent dyno local really, also will have to source some mirrors, i like the looks but it feels odd without them ,

Both kris and myself run big jets with that system mate, think kris ran 124's all round and i ran 126's due to the RLR motor wanting a bit more.

ok tony , bear in mind ive done no hocus pokus on the motor , and stock carb setup standard needles not raised or owt , ill get some jets in 120 up to 124 , you say 124's all round ?

Yes I ran 124's all round with RO needles no washers, and it was clean right through the rev range.
For some reason those pipes need massive jets to get it crisp.

Kris's motor was standard and IIRC he had 124's and Rick O needles
EDIT: there you go straight from the horses mouth

Std kehin jets i used, i think when kris says no washers he meant no extra washers, thats what the RO road needles are designed for.

I think I might have used dynojet jets to be honest, but never had a problem. Yes sorry RO needles have the washers built in to them but I still used the small metal retaining washer also.
The only time I had problems with this set-up was removing the rubber flap and trying a Kn filter. It ran shocking so went back to standard filter and rubber flap.

ok well im not too clued up on the diference between the kehin and dyno , am i right in thinking that the sizing in numbers is not the same so if i was going to get dynojets id have to buy the equvilents to 124 (dont know what the numbers are)
