Did you tighten it up properly? I used 2 copper ones last week without issue.

i did tightend it up but if i tighten any harder the clamp just bends from over tightenining

okay i just bought the 18291-mr8-000 part number which is the gaskets for the rear downpipe to manifold...and they look exactly the same as the copper rings except they are dark grey almost brown colour..and a wee bit thicker...is that the right ones? sorry got no pics to show as my phone is broken and i dont have anther camera

Yes.

The copper ones do work too as i've used them.

If you still can't get a seal you are not doing it right.

Make sure gaskets are in properly. exhaust pipes are nice and central so they can crush up against the copper ring

ah okay. il see if i can try and put them in. havent tried yet as im in college at the moment, the other thing is the pipe bracket is a little bent so it wont go into the studs unless i push it quite hard. and i have a feeling that this is causing the downpipes not to sit in centerly.

That shouldn't matter so much, there a little fiddley.

Easiest if you have the rear hanger loose so you can move the exhaust around a bit so you can get the pipes connected properly

okay, so i installed new clutch lever. and now it wont work properly? i tried pressing the lever...and put the bike onto gear 1 from neutral...and the chain starts to spin...okay..but when i let go off the clutch the chain still spins? wtf? the bike wont stall and when i press the lever again and give throttle the chain spins even faster?....what could be the problem....it was working before i removed the lever and put the new one in...and i didnt do any adjustments to the cable at alll..just removed the old lever and put new one in.. please help :(

oh another note..im guessing the clutch is constantly engaged and wont disengage....

Did you check it wasn't dragging before you changed the lever - because I didn't, and it was (or at least I've come to the conclusion it must have been).

Hard to say. Try to adjust the cable.
