Yes.xivlia wrote:okay i just bought the 18291-mr8-000 part number which is the gaskets for the rear downpipe to manifold...and they look exactly the same as the copper rings except they are dark grey almost brown colour..and a wee bit thicker...is that the right ones? sorry got no pics to show as my phone is broken and i dont have anther camera
The copper ones do work too as i've used them.
If you still can't get a seal you are not doing it right.
Make sure gaskets are in properly. exhaust pipes are nice and central so they can crush up against the copper ring

Re: rear downpipe gasket.. this is the right ones?
ah okay. il see if i can try and put them in. havent tried yet as im in college at the moment, the other thing is the pipe bracket is a little bent so it wont go into the studs unless i push it quite hard. and i have a feeling that this is causing the downpipes not to sit in centerly.

That shouldn't matter so much, there a little fiddley.
Easiest if you have the rear hanger loose so you can move the exhaust around a bit so you can get the pipes connected properly

Have you seen my thread?

Did you check it wasn't dragging before you changed the lever - because I didn't, and it was (or at least I've come to the conclusion it must have been).

Hard to say. Try to adjust the cable.
