Have been working my nuts off over the last few months but as of November weekend work evaporates! I will finish this bike before Chrstmas - for goodness sake it only needs painting!!!!!!!!

Question re the 3TJ2 - originally were the mirrors painted???
Certain people tell me they were Pearlescent, but others tell me they were white and did not match the rest of the paintwork- trying to get the thing to look original so any help appreciated.

Type in FZR400 .... you get all the FZR400 from way back, including the first one before the Genesis. You only see 4 pictures initially but scroll down and they all come up. Looking at your 3TJ 02 I'd say the mirrors are painted white but not pearl.

To my knowledge the only parts I am missing from my bike are the front indicator fairing rubbers - the ones that locate in the fairing and steady the indicator stems. These appear to be NLA. Does anyone in FZR400 land have a clue where I can get them? New or second hand?

They are readily available from any Yamaha dealer.
CMSL shows no stock however, I paid £3.50 last year from Suttons.

Mmmm..... Wemoto show only one in stock.........perhaps becoming rare now.

The wemoto does have the part no though 3EN-83321-50-00 so if you can't get them new have a look at 3en or 3HE 600 bodywork and see if you can get some scratched panels cheap on the bay
