I repaired and rebuilt my bikes out of neccessity, then couldnt resist taking every new bike apart to check it over and get it into the condition I wanted.
I bought the best NC30 I could find [ apart from a UK one for £4,200 ] and took it apart over the winter to tidy it up.
Doing your own work is a good way to learn, and helps evaluate cost and condition on bikes you may consider buying.

does he want a carbon tank to go with it ,comes with filler cap ,no tap ,sadly it does not fit with standard airbox (or i would be using it myself)

Yes, I know not 400s , but the next best thing and they are V4s
Brands track day last Wednesday, and shot of bike before friend collectd it, I have just finished tidying it up for him, it was unused for a few years.

mainly it's an advice thing mate and to hear what you've done and was it worth it,but don't worry i'll not be asking you to give away your trade secrets (or RLR's )
