One day, i hope i'm in the same position. I'm currently in the second stage of my first 'project' bike.arsey30 wrote:Yes you are right, that is why I used to do it, but now I go for original unrestored bikes or ones already fitted with good correct parts like HRC, Maxton, Spondon, Ohlins, etc.

Re: Gallery
I repaired and rebuilt my bikes out of neccessity, then couldnt resist taking every new bike apart to check it over and get it into the condition I wanted.
I bought the best NC30 I could find [ apart from a UK one for £4,200 ] and took it apart over the winter to tidy it up.
Doing your own work is a good way to learn, and helps evaluate cost and condition on bikes you may consider buying.

Re: Gallery
does he want a carbon tank to go with it ,comes with filler cap ,no tap ,sadly it does not fit with standard airbox (or i would be using it myself)arsey30 wrote:Yes it is an RC30, possibly ex race and I think he has carbon belly pan too.
I have not bought anything yet, I am still undecided which way to go, I want a UK NC30 but considering alternatives.
