No mate, need to sort out a small coolant leak issue form the pipe that sits in the Vee and also need to get my hands on a swingarm tool to torque it all up properly. That and a list of other small things that need doing before it's road safe. Should be done over the summer but you don't want to rush these things

the swing arm tool is easy sorted, i'm posting paul one to do the clutch with so he can send it to you after,..... result

Gertie is soooo nearly done now. Fixed the water leak. The o-rings on the water pipe of the V were super hard and brittle so now both sets have been replaced Gertie has stopped doing excited puppy widdles everytime you blip the throttle. This has for the first time, let me get the bike up to temperature and all seems well, no leaks from anywhere and the oil doesn't resemble Mayo which means I didn't score the surface of the heads when I got all the old gaskets off. I stuck some axle stands under the pegs and went through all the gears and everything seemed ok, clutch is fine although a bit heavy so I'll have to look into that at some point but man does it sound loud and intimidating now!!!

The old man, being an ex Aston Martin engineer, just stood there grinning and nodding bless his cotton socks.

Anyway, all that really needs to be done is to fit the dry break coupler, re-check the valve clearances, do up the locknut on the swing arm bolt, throw some clothes on it and get it down to Steve for him to set up on the Dyno. I'm not sure it'll pass an M.O.T though with how loud it is so I may have to borrow back the baffle I sent Paul for a week just to get it through.
