I already had the metal exhaust badges. I bought a dozen of them and these are the genuine non-exhaust ones.
Tank was around 75 euro delivered, had them packed together with some other stuff, trick parts, books, decals.

Small update for now: I have been extremely busy lately, in summary: I signed with new job as per 1st next month, no company car so bought a car last week, and also slowly started to search for a new house/estate. My gf wants a walking closet. And for me...A hugh must-have is a big garage including a separate office/hobby room so I can sort out my workshop On Wednesday a first viewing planned

Last weekend I did find some limited time to get the mint NC35 season ready for I hope more rides this year than last 3 years, I drained the mixture of "old" fuel in the full tank and refreshed it with a full tank of new fuel + Forte moto power I.

Whilst the tank was off I decided to take the carbon airbox I have for the other NC35 and fitted it to this bike.

The fitment was tight. I planned to use two universal air filter mini pods (crank case breathers) for the two black hoses coming from the carbs that connects to the standard airbox case at the rear end. As I had a couple of genuine NC35 airboxes + cases as spares I decided to chop one off from a less beauty genuine case and use this with the small air filter as per standard.


I have no idea/not tested yet if the slight larger volume airbox (+8%) will affect the current response on the bike. Will test it later when the weather improves here.

And here a couple of shots of the magical racing carbon hugger and the spacing with the rear wheel (genuine 17inch, with size 150 BT090 tyre) since I received some questions earlier...

Small update, I had to get some replacements done before my planned trip in about 2.5 weeks to the Alps, so fitted new fresh BT090's, new set of hyperpro springs + oil in UPSD NC35 front suspension (already have them in my other RVF) and I am considering about what rear suspension unit to go with (either hyperpro emulsion standard shock unit or a more adjustable with piggyback separated oil/gas reservoir). Will call the hyperpro HQ tommorrow for some advice + details.

Today I bought some new gear too, new pro carbon st gloves and laguna seca evo 2-piece suit to replace my dainese 9 year old gear:


but only with this smaller hump instead of the hugh black one.

Waow. Dream spec RR! What do you make of the tyga painted fairings? Im gonna need the full kit except the tank cover, id prefer to paint the original tank, is it common to run the tank cover? seems like a cheap short cut and would let a bike down.. Japanese parts add so much more character to the bike. Think ill be hitting up Yahoo auctions and webike/samurider for some similar parts Iv had in mind for my own!
