Yeah thanks again mate.

Interesting to see that a slipper clutch was offered, wonder if they were nc30 parts (standard on nc30)? Could be an option to use one.

Your welcome ....

I have a sneaky feeling that the backet is from a CBX 750 .
I have one in my garage and im going to look at fitting it in the future.
I had a CBX and they are a bloody good slipper but a poxy clutch for a 750 , they should be fine on a 400 power though.

Definitely not the NC30 clutch as I asked Harley at RB the same question this week after running around on a mates NC30 on the really tight gokart tracks up here. Nice not to have to modulate the clutch while trying to turn into really effin tight hairpins, 4 times per lap!

Are the NC23 and NC29 clutches the same because if they are I've located a CBX750 clutch and am going to take a punt and try to fit it to my NC29. After my broken arm heals that is.....

I dont know if the 29 & 23 clutch is the same or not . (honda dont normally change stuff lol )
I also dont know 100% about the CBX as i know they are a hydraulic actuator and the CBR is cable so i am unsure if the actuator is the same or not.
The reason i mentioned the CBX is i was told the part number in the catalogue is the same but i have not really bothered to confirm that as fact yet.

If you get one and it works can you let me know lol.

handling is more important than power people,no good having alot of power and yer shite thru the corners
cause thats just sad
i'll be back with power next year...as i know the 23 handles

Well i suppose you must have as wrong in the past about something as you are about this subject.
HRC parts are in many aspects just relisted standard parts from other models . If you have a copy of the manual i have been sending ( i cant remember all the names i sent it to ) then try and see what happens.
They may not be off the shelf in your poxy local Honda shop but they are available from the dealer network worldwide.
