What needles are you using in your NC24 slides matey?

@ Hamster - what is your current bike setup with regards to pipes, airbox and suchlike?

What you going to do with it?

Both bikes are 100% factory standard CMSMJ1.
With my project bike, what I really want to do to it is put Ohlins Road and Track Front forks on, Brembo Front Brake Calipers and Discs, Carbon Fiber Bodywork including petrol tank, Carbon Fiber Wheels, CBR600RR Tail Unit With Custom Underseat exhaust, Ohlins Uprated Rear Shock, HRC STeering Damper kit and HRC Overflow bottles (Although for the price I would probably make my own up!), Full HRC Electronics, Quickshifter Kit, Digital Dash Display with GPS SPeed Sensors and Shift Light and Perhaps a HID Light Kit.
For The Engine, I would Like to do Some HRC mods to the carburettors to improve the response a little and change the jetting to suit the CBR600RR exhaust (Akrapovic) and perhaps increase velocity through the inlets, with the block itself I would like to get it blueprinted, have the cyclinder heads ported and polished and the valves enlarged, fit race camshafts and lightened crankshaft, 450cc Titanium pistons and rods kit, uprated bearings and geskets everywhere, silicon hoses everywhere, brand new uprated radiators and HRC Oil Cooler to save weight and improve cooling, fitting of a slimline Pacet fan as the old one will not fit with the oil cooler!

Oh, by the way.... Its going to be a show bike that will occasionally be ridden in perfect weather. So I dont think thats too over the top.
I love NC30's and definetley wont be selling one of mine, so I dont see why not in spending the above £15'000 over the next few years to get the bike awesome and how I want it. LOL

You can call me obsessive now....

You need to speak to Mike Norman and send him your engine on a pallet...

http://mngforce.typepad.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

LIke the idea...but all that for a 20yr old road bike? Obsessive..yeah!

Is this a pie in the sky option or are you minted enough to get this done and all you need is the time for sourcing gear and building it?

If you are spending that moolah then whatever it costs I would be on a plane to California and taking my motor with me. Would hang with the G force guys and make them tea and sweep up in their workshop until they had chance to do my motor..lol

HRC carb mods would be the least of my worries for now.

If you are looking for a big spec front end with Brembo brakes why not fit a Ducati front end ? I can sort you out with a fitting kit if you need a set. I also have a set of Rvf Hrc spec carbs sat in the shed if anyone was interested. Good luck with the build, sounds very interesting.
