Who has progressive springs? What do you think of them?

Whichever you go for will be an improvement on the std springs as they will be very tired and are also probably too light for you.

Linear springs are theoretically better if the weight of them is spot on. As mentioned before, I am sure the damping type makes a difference so want to hear from some techy person if I am right...

I have experience of MTB forks, both cartridge anddamper rod and the cartridges use shims and are consistent through the stroke and through the speeds of response. the damper rod ramps up as it has set holes in the rod and can only flow so much oil.

I bought my Hagon springs a long time ago...probably the first thing I ever bought for my bike - from Craig_Sirrett as he was then knowon on his very first (and sadly RIP) NC30....and if you know Craig..that is a long time ago now!!
