I wonder what they are then, hrc set maybe?? There brass and groved at the bottom, not like a needle, flat bottom, but tappers in just like an ordinary set.
They sound like japanese Kenso bakudan needles, they look a lot different to most, some pics in this link:

Is there an advantage to using these? or would you recommend i swop them for orginal??

you might be better off getting a second hand set of carbs thats standard, could save a lot of headache in the long run

Yeah given your running problems I would stick some standard needles in, you might never get it right otherwise.

Ill bring it to a lad tomorrow who tunes these bikes. If he cant do anything to it, ill replace the needles and jets! Thanks for the help!
