metzeler z6's are the best all round tyre and grippier on a normal road far about their right to be. besides i had 12000 fondly-agressive miles out of my last set before i even saw canvas :mrgreen:
its not a race, okay?... READY-STEADY-GO! ;)

Do they do 18" BT014's William???

Hiya, I've got a BT014 on the front and a BT092 on the back, they seem ok to me, but i dont know if they make them in 18's, have a look at bridgestone website loads a info on there.
Bt016's are suposed to be good aswell but again i dont think they do them in 18.

I ran 014's on my VFR years ago. They were good while they lasted but I'd not fit another set again.

yes they do!!!

i still have the standard 18' rim on the nc30.

well, just ordered my bt92- at £120 odd ... without fitting...
tis bloody expensive this biking lark...

Bloody hell thats top dollar, i just brought some alpha 10's for £115 delivered, and thats a set!

Granted thay not the same tyre and they not gunna last as long but still......

Hmmmm interesting reading this thread. Last time I got new tyres, I was told I could only have BT 090's or some big chunky Dunlop things.

So there is another choice for standard 18'' NC30 rear then that might last a bit longer BT92's you say.. I shall investigate that then with the garage in the summer when it's new tyre time.

Any other choices for all round riding and longevity please?

i though it was a bit much....
but he did have to order it in for me.
and the honda garage around here charges like £65 per hour labour.
sod that...
