Re: reccomended rubber?
metzeler z6's are the best all round tyre and grippier on a normal road far about their right to be. besides i had 12000 fondly-agressive miles out of my last set before i even saw canvas

its not a race, okay?... READY-STEADY-GO!

Re: reccomended rubber?
Hiya, I've got a BT014 on the front and a BT092 on the back, they seem ok to me, but i dont know if they make them in 18's, have a look at bridgestone website loads a info on there.
Bt016's are suposed to be good aswell but again i dont think they do them in 18.
Cheers
Ian

Re: reccomended rubber?
I ran 014's on my VFR years ago. They were good while they lasted but I'd not fit another set again.
Ducati 916, not worth a carrott

Bloody 'ell. Where did you order that from? Did it come with a free gift?

Re: reccomended rubber?
Hmmmm interesting reading this thread. Last time I got new tyres, I was told I could only have BT 090's or some big chunky Dunlop things.
So there is another choice for standard 18'' NC30 rear then that might last a bit longer BT92's you say.. I shall investigate that then with the garage in the summer when it's new tyre time.
Any other choices for all round riding and longevity please?
