Didnt realise it was Suzuka nI thought it was Motegi....ah well supose I could visit that museum when I am at the 8 hour...

If I could get rid of it I would, been for sale since September... You could well be right, it might be Motegi, but sure if you are doing both then I'm sure you'll to the right place :D Wonder if the internals are still there??? I'm sure you could get a lap in around the showroom before you get deported and banned from travelling to Japan, but it sould beworth it

Tanuki's right. It's the Honda museum next to the Motegi track. Has all sorts of things in it.

EDIT: Definitly at number 1 on my "places to go" list -

Its the 'honda collection hall' at motegi. I am going for the motogp in april. I have hired a bike and am riding up from tokyo. I can't wait.

Good pics here http://www.koutoushinku-giken.com/fz_hp/nsr_rvf_top.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Some good vids on youtube.

Hope you don't mind me asking Bridgey, but roughly how much is it all costing? I'd love to do the exact same thing sometime.

I will do a breakdown to show the costs. It could be done much cheaper, but other than valencia and possibly Assen this is my only holiday of the year so I have gone a bit overboard. I am self employed so I don't really have any other time off.

Flights with finnair from Manchester 500 each.
Bike hire 270ish for four days (inc topbox and panniers).
Three nights in a tokyo hotel 215.
Tickets in the main grandstand opposite a screen the pits and the podium 110(each) for three days.
One day paddock and pit ticket 100quid.
Camping 57 including meals etc.

WALKING AROUND THE HONDA COLLECTION HALL-------------------PRICELESS

Plus a new arai and loads of Pokemon and nintendo stuff for the kids.

Basically I reckon I'm not gonna have much change out of 3k.
I don't want to come across as being flash or loaded or anything. My tax rebate at the end of April will be covering the cost. My Mrs is also paying half.

I go to valencia every year and that costs 350-400 each all in (spends the lot).

To be honest, I don't think £3k is a lot for 2 people for what you are doing. Good luck mate and make sure and take plenty of memory cards for your camera.

I have got reserved tickets from http://www.mobilityland.co.jp/english/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; they own/run Motegi and Suzuka. Tickets are not on sale for another couple of weeks but I emailed the circuit and they have an english speaker who is very helpful. It will probably be the same for Suzuka. Have a look on the circuit info and there should be an email address.

Another place for info is http://www.gaijinriders.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; its an english speaking forum for riders in japan (mainly yanks). I also have info for bike hire etc if you want it. And loads of other cool places to go (mainly in tokyo).
