Hi all - an update

i gave up on my CDI... it had more underlying faults than i could be bothered to fix.

I bought a new unit off ebay for £75 (chinese derestricted copy) and it works great.

bike is now running fine, apart from a lumpy idle which hopefully cleaning the carbs and getting a new air filter will sort.

Thanks for watching :P

Well done mate.

Looks like my bike is following in your tire marks, I've just had to order a chinese after market CDI as well. I'm guessing it's the same one as there was only one on Ebay.

yeah, i'll let you know which wires go where if you're having trouble - as i said, the pins on mine werent where they were on the pictures gavsta provided.

at least we know these chinese CDI's work - tried and tested! :D

guy i got mine from was skyfairings - he was VERY helpful when the postage went wrong on mine, give him good feedback when you get yours sorted! :D
