Great spotting mate!! Will get that flipped when I get to rear suspension. You are correct it was delivered that way haha. Even worse though, the nut holding the top of the shock was missing so the bolt was just sitting in there!

Cheers :) My process was wire wheel first, then various grades of (light) sanding, and finished with 2 passes of Autosol metal polish. Happy with the result for sure. Might go the full Tyga system in the future, but this will absolutely do for now.

Hi Tony and pixelevolved, I'm following this with interest, have a '92 fully stripped, bodywork , plating done, rest blasted ready for painting and rebuilding. In chch too.
