i had a bad leak with the float bowls on my old cbx550 and it ran like shit

but on my cbr400 the leak is not too bad and it runs quite well,and idles fine!!!!!

A friend of mine is convinced it's not the carbs but one of the pipes around them, unfortunately I wont get a chance to look until the weekend. Anyway will let you know what I find.
