maciekmaciek19,

If you are still having problems, you could try a large sprocket puller and protect the back of the spokes with some MDF or thick cardboard. I'm sure you will find that persuasion is better than force and the effort applied by a screw thread can be considerable - after all, you got the wheel on by tightening the wheelnut.

Regards,

Dave.

Ok,

this is not a serious suggestion but if you really want the wheel to come off, take the nut off and then go for a spin. Its bound to come off. :D

Haha!!! Read my first post. I have already done it... haha! Anyway, it didn't loosen the wheel one bit.
Cheers!

This one sounds interesting. I'm not sure I know what the sprocket puller is though... Please tell me more. I was actually thinking about a tool that could push the wheel off the hub suing 'threaded force'

Lol,

Sorry, i hadnt noticed that! it must be on there very tightly!

the heating it up method is probably the best way of getting it off, that and a puller and lots of swearing etc.

The way to do is properly is a hydraulic puller, unfortunately don't have access to one myself anymore[1] but they're a great bit of kit. You may be able to hire one.

You could just make up your own puller out of a few bits of threaded bar and something substantial (angle iron, something like that).

[1] My dad used to have one. Nicknamed it 'mighty mouse' as it was small but very powerful.

I've found these pictures.
Both types would require some bracing behind the spokes of the wheel, though the black one should allow you to rotate the puller legs to better suite the angle of the spokes.
