The thing is I don't want to put the bike on the stand again and leave it there for 2 weeks.

My forks took longer than that to have them rebuilt, but then the modifications were quite extensive. I bought a second set to have modified, whilst I kept a standard set on my bike. Although only to push around the garage, there were too many other areas of the bike to work on for it to be back on the road.

Hi, yeah but I've replaced them now anyway. It was a mixture of shite head bearings, headstock nut not tighten properly, badly rebuilt forks, warped brake disc, seized brake caliper. I'm resolving those issues gradually and the front end feel is improving slowly. Thanks though
