i would prefer a 250 stroker for a couple of reasons
1 - they are way cooler
2 - they sound better
3 - they smell better
4 - i could squeeze it in the PS trackday under the rules

however the appeal of a 4 stroke
1 - no messing around with pre mix
2 - they are possibly quicker
3 - urm, nope i am out of positive comments

A later beam framed cr250 would be the ticket, especially with a cr500 motor in it.

that's what i have been looking for, but all are shagged out or not road legal.
no interest in a 500 motor, they are horrible things and quite crude and no faster than the 250 just far more unpleasant to ride.
