A supercharger is a huge set of gears driven by the drive belt, so yes they sound the same. The best sound IMHO, I'd take a supercharger over a turblow any day!

Sounds nothing like a v-twin. Maybe it doesn't sound like a NC30/RC30 etc, but it definitly sounds like a NC24/VFR800 etc.

what VFR800 have you heard ,i ride one and mine sounds nothing like that lol
and sorry but NC30s do not sound like RC30s IMO

Do you mean VFR750 rather than 800, IRIC the 800 went to the 360 degree engine (as is the NC30/RC30), the NC24 and RC24 are 180 degree V4's.

Oops, I did mean the VFR750. And yes, the RC30 and NC30 don't sound exactly the same, but they both have that nice smooth V4. All I wanted to point out was that it sounds nothing like a V-twin.
