Before you put it all back together, coat and polish in a few coats of Bees Wax

When you wash your bike, use something like Pledge (Make sure your polish contains Bees Wax)

Over time you will build up a nice protective coat

You will also find that the dirt does not adhere as much as it used to aswell

I think I juSt powder coat it...lol
