I am looking into doing some for another bike at the moment, so I will let you know how it pans out. The problem is that there are not many 3TJs about and it might not be worth it because of the mould costs.
cheers

CB750 is where the money is for new tooling I think Blair!
Their owners have devoted 000's of hours trying to soften the NLA originals with limited success.

I appreciate the input Willandrip, but they are still available as a genuine part. From Partzilla $7.57
http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/h ... 1-300.html
I also found some reproduction items. Or have I stuffed up again and you are referring to a different model?

Put them in Acetone for a couple of hours,
They will stay soft for a couple of months.

Going to drag this one back up for some advice, shortly after realising i couldnt get any new rubbers BDK finally finished my FCR's so i gave up on the CV's and waited for the FCR's to arrive. Got some new float bowl gaskets, filled them with petrol only for them to still piss fuel all over the work bench

Nice one BDK, maybe you needed some more time on them? another year or 2 maybe?
So now ive got the hump with the FCR's and back to the CV's, i was just about to order some 1WG rubbers but noticed from looking at a picture of them their just straight rubber stacks where as the 3TJ CV rubbers curve forward when they enter the box, i take it this makes no difference?

No the airbox rubbers that sit Inside the airbox, rubbers for cv carbs are curved and the rubbers for fcr carbs are straight like the 1WG rubbers hence my question.
