Cheers Paul, tygapaul wrote:The RVF and VFR mounting holes are different. As well as the side holes, the biggest hassle is the seat pad mounting. The NC30 seat can't fit to the NC35 seat cowl and if you put an NC35 seat pad on, then the holes at the back to mount it solidly to the subframe won't fit because there are no threaded holes in the NC30 subframe there. So the solution is either fit an NC35 subframe too and then the problem is solved, or (obviously) fit one of our NC35 style seat cowlings to the NC30. The necessary changes have been made including a seat support which goes across the subframe, mounting on the now redundant side positions on the NC30 subframe behind the rider. You can then bolt the seat cowling to the support and everything is held nice and firm. The only issue would be if the Mrs is bank rolling the project because she'll need to catch the bus as it is a one seater.

On the tail light, if you don't ind cutting the NC30 one, just cut the two mounts of the bottom corners and with our cowling it irs held by the top one and a slot in the under cowling. For a home made or stock NC35 plastic, you could do the same but glue the bottom edge in with silicone or similar.
Gona check which subframe is on the bike and make my desision from there. As said already tho, I'm fairly confident it's the original nc30 frame with a rvf style tail that's meant to fit this frame. Quite keen on doing a castrol scheme on the bike at some point as the paintwork has become a bit tatty in places.

That looks great! Maybe we should make a fairing like that.
